“I am not a dancer, but somehow it happened that soon I will graduate from choreography and performance MA in Gießen. Before I graduate, I want to get to know more about dance and choreography and what these two have to do with one another. I invited 10 people to be the choreographers of this piece. Some of them are very close to dance, others stand far away from it. They all made a dance for this piece, and gave it to me. I took it, learned it, and I will share it with the audience”, Nele Tiidelepp.

Nele Tiidelepp is an Estonian artist who graduated from the Estonian Academy of Arts with a degree in installation and sculpture. She works as a freelance artist in the performance medium. Her artistic practice is driven by interest in other people and social dynamics. Her work is often based on spontaneous reactions to environments and materials, incorporating conceptual logic and poetics.

Tiidelepp has showcased her work in exhibitions and art events across Estonia for example in Kanuti Gildi SAAL, elektron.art, Tartu Art Museum and Independent Dance Stage(STL). She has also worked and performed in Czech, US, Norway, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Portugal, and Finland.
